Am I a good candidate for BOTOX® or Dysport® injections?
People with wrinkles or lines on their faces caused by repetitive facial expressions or other factors may be good candidates for BOTOX® or Dysport® injections.
How soon should I expect to see the results of BOTOX® and Dysport® injections?
Patients usually see their results of Dysport® injections after 2-3 days, but full muscle paralysis may take up to a week.
Results from BOTOX® can be seen as soon as 24 hours after injection, but the average is three days. BOTOX® can produce maximum results within two weeks.
How long do the effects of BOTOX® and Dysport® last?
Injections of BOTOX® and Dysport® usually last between three and four months. You may experience different results depending on where you are treated, how your skin reacts to the treatment, and how much sun you are exposed to.
Should I expect any recovery or downtime?
You should have little or no downtime after BOTOX® or Dysport® injections. You should plan events and travel two weeks in advance since swelling or bruising may occur.
