Amy Bernards is a board-certified physician assistant with 18+ years of experience in medical dermatology and co-founder of LOURE Aesthetics. Amy also owns a successful candle company, is developing a multigenerational farm, and is now expanding her expertise in cosmetic dermatology. Amy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants and, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
LOURE Aesthetics founders Amy and Nikki Grossen both live in Waunakee, WI and have had long careers as physician assistants. Both Amy and Nikki are board certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. The friends launched the boutique practice after Nikki’s original venture to open a private practice was tabled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
When not in the office, Amy enjoys spending time at her lake house, boating, gardening, and traveling the world with her husband and two children.
Nikki Grossen is a board-certified physician assistant and co-founder of LOURE Aesthetics. Nikki began her career in as a board-certified surgical technologist in the Chicagoland area before graduating from Rosalind Franklin University with a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Practice in 2010. Nikki began work in OB/GYN and family medicine where she was introduced to medical aesthetics. Nikki is also a North American Certified Menopause Practitioner, NCMP through the North American Menopause Society and also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants.
Nikki and Amy Bernards founded LOURE Aesthetics after working together at a clinic in rural Wisconsin. Unable to expand the aesthetic medicine program at the clinic, the pair began LOURE Aesthetics in 2021. Nikki has expertise in aesthetic lasers for hair removal, body sculpting, intense pulsed light therapy, spider vein removal, facial resurfacing, facial dyschromia, and vaginal rejuvenation. Nikki trained at National Laser Institute and is certified in injectable neuromodulators, dermal fillers, microneedling, aesthetic lasers, and platelet-rich plasma treatments.
When not in the office, Nikki enjoys hiking, boating, yoga, and spending time with her husband and two children at their gymnastics, lacrosse, or wrestling meets.

Dr. Jess is a board certified physician. She has 10 years of experience as a Dermatopathologist, which gives her a deep understanding of the structure and function of the skin. She enjoys the art of medical aesthetics and strives to give her clients a refreshed and rejuvenated look by combining treatments tailored to them. She believes in prevention and treatment of the underlying causes of facial aging, not just “filling wrinkles”.
When not in the office, Jessica enjoys running, biking and being outdoors (with the proper sun protection!), baking, and curling up on the couch with a good novel.
